o2 Free Sim Cards

There are currently several free o2 sim card deals available via the o2 website. Here's a rundown of their features (on top of the top up credit):

o2 Text & Web

The latest addition to the o2 prepay sim card range is o2 Text & Web. As usual, this includes a free o2 sim card (up to 4 per person), and if you top up £10 or more in any month, you'll get free unlimited texts in the next month. Top up by a £15 a month or more and you'll also get free internet in the next month. Calls will cost you 25p per minute to non o2 mobiles, and 25p for the first three minutes and 5p after that to landlines.

o2 Unlimited

This version of the o2 free sim cards offer gives you unlimited texts between o2 mobiles when you top up £10 in the following month and free calls too if you add £15 in credit.

o2 Text & Call

Text and Call will get you a lower rate if you need to call mobiles other than o2. A £10 top up will get you an additional 25 minutes and 25 texts, and £15 will earn you 100 minutes and 100 texts on top of your credit. £30 or more in top ups will result in your o2 sim card being privvy to a whopping 200 minutes and 200 texts over and above the credit you add.

o2 Your Country

If you frequently call abroad, this could be the o2 free sim card deal for you. On top of the credit you add,, you'll get 50 minutes for international calls, or 100 minutes for a £15 top up, or 200 minutes for a £30 top up. You must be calling from a phone containing your o2 sim card in the UK, and there are a few excluded countries - please see the o2 website for full details.

o2 Favourite Place

If you fancy ditching your home phone this plan is great. Simply register your postcode and you can get buckets of free minutes when you're calling from that place. The free allowances apply to landlines and other o2 mobiles. £10 will get you 500 minutes, £15 gets 1000 minutes, and unlimited calls are available to customers topping up £30 or more (of course this is on top of the credit itself!)
